Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound large shrimp deveined and peeled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, finely cut into slices
  • One teaspoon of the red pepper Flakes
  • Fresh parsley, 1/4 cup chopped
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper as desired
  • Grated Parmesan cheese to serve (optional)

Prepare the Pasta Cook the Pasta: Bring large pots that is salted to a simmer. Cook your spaghetti following the package directions until it is al al dente. Rinse and set aside.

The Shrimp should be cooked In a large pan prepare 2 tablespoons olive oil on medium temperature. Place the Shrimp in and let them cook a couple of minutes per side, until they are opaque and pink. Then, remove the fish from the pot and put them aside.

Make the Sauce Prepare the Sauce: In this same skillet pour in the olive oil remaining. Then add the red pepper, garlic, and chiles. Cook until the garlic turns fragrant and golden brown for about 2 minutes.

Combine Cook the spaghetti and add it into the skillet, and toss into a coating of garlic oil. Return the shrimp back to the pan and add the lemon juice along with parsley, salt and pepper. Combine everything.

Serve immediately served with grate Parmesan cheese on top, if you wish.
