Ingredients
- 1 box of lasagna noodles, oven-ready
- 1 lb ground beef, or Italian sausage
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper according to your preference

Execution
1-The oven should be preheated to the temperature of 375 degF (190degC).
2-Create the sauce for meat in an oven-proof skillet, cook the sausage or ground beef at medium temperature until cooked. Remove any fat that has accumulated. Pour the marinara sauce over the beef and mix until it is well mixed. Allow to simmer for about a couple of minutes and then put aside.
3-Create the cheese mixture in a large bowl, mix eggs, ricotta cheese Oregano powder, garlic powder, basil, salt and pepper. Stir until smooth.
4-Lay the lasagna in a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Lay a layer of lasagna noodles that are ready to bake on top of the sauce. Layer a layer of Ricotta-based mixture on top of the noodles. Follow that with an abundant sprinkle of mozzarella as well as Parmesan cheese. Continue to layer these ingredients (sauce noodles, ricotta and cheese) until all the ingredients have been completed, then add an additional layer of meat sauce, and finally a topping of mozzarella, and Parmesan.
5-Bake lasagna. The lasagna dish is covered with aluminum foil, then bake it for 25 minutes. Take off the foil, and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until cheese that is on top has melted and is golden.
6-Rest it Let the lasagna to rest for 5-10 mins before serving and cutting.
