Ingredients:

  • 3-4 lbs of beef Brisket
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • One large onion cut into slices
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broth from beef
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional to add a little the heat)

Execution

1- The brisket should be prepared: The brisket should be generously seasoned with salt, pepper and smoke paprika both sides.

2- Grill the beef brisket Place the Instant Pot on sauté mode, and then include some olive oil. After the oil is hot, cook the brisket in a couple of minutes each time until the brisket is brown. Take the brisket off and place it to one side.

3- Sauté garlic and onions: In the same pan, place the cut garlic and onions, cook until the onions are soft and translucent.

4- Make your sauce Add Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste soy sauce as well as apple cider vinegar along with brown sugar. Combine well while letting the sauce simmer for about 1-2 minutes.

5- Incorporate your liquids Add the broth from beef and then use an old spoon to scrape any bits of browning from the inside of the vessel.
