Ingredients

  • 12 oz pasta (penne, fusilli, or your favorite type)
  • 1 box (5.2 8 oz) Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pasta water left over
  • 1/2 cup chopped Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh spinach, or fresh cherry tomatoes (optional to add flavor and color)
  • Salt and black pepper according to your taste
  • Fresh basil or fresh parsley to garnish

Execution:

A- Cook the Pasta
Make a large pot of salted water to simmer and cook your pasta according to instructions on the packet until the pasta is cooked to al at al. Reserving 1/2 cup of pasta’s liquid prior to draining and place the pasta aside.

B-Prepare the Sauce
In a large pot in a large skillet, heat olive oil on medium-high high heat. Then, add the minced garlic. cook for 30 seconds until it becomes the garlic is fragrant. Make sure not to let the garlic burn.

C-Melt the Boursin Cheese
Reduce the heat and introduce the Boursin cheese in the skillet. Stir until it starts to melt. Then slowly introduce the heavy cream as well as the reserved pasta water. Mix it constantly in order to make a smooth and thick sauce. If you prefer a richer sauce, then you may cut down on the pasta liquid or cream.

D-Combine the Pasta and Sauce
