Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon olive
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce 1 tablespoon soy
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar 1 tablespoon rice
  • 1 cup grated ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup water chestnuts chopped
  • One cup of chopped green onions
  • One head of butter lettuce leaves separated
  • Sesame seeds to garnish

Execution

Cook the chicken In a large pan in olive oil, heat it up over moderate temperature. Add the chicken, and cook until it is browned breaking it into pieces while cooking.

Add the flavorings Mix with hoisin sauce, soya sauce ginger, rice vinegar and garlic. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, until everything is together.

Add vegetables Mix in the chopped carrots, water chestnuts as well as green onions. Cook for 2 more minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

To assemble the wraps Then, spoon your chicken mix into leaves of lettuce. sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve right away.
