Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar, divided

Execution

1- Prepare the Dough: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, pinching together the seams if necessary.

2- Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough in the baking dish.

3- Top with Dough: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully lay it on top of the cheesecake layer, again pinching any seams.

4- Add Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with the ground cinnamon. Brush the top dough layer with melted butter and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

5- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until golden brown. Let the cheesecake cool slightly before slicing and serving.
